My name is Shaelen Purdy. I am from Atlanta, GA and I am an Interior Design major at the University of Georgia. I am passionate about creating functional and aesthetically pleasing interiors and driven to dive into any opportunity. I am a member of the UGA chapters of the American Society of Interior Designers, as well National Kitchen and Bathroom Association. I have worked for various florists around Atlanta where I have been on the design team for weddings, rehearsal dinners, and galas. Additionally, I worked as a sales temp in the Harper Group showroom at AmericasMart Atlanta. I have thoroughly enjoyed my coursework and job opportunities thus far and I have already grown so much as a designer. I am eager to continue learning and expanding my design knowledge in the coming years through my courses as well as from industry professionals.
