Studio 2 explored both residential and commercial design and was paired with a concurrent Computer Aided Design course, bridging the gap between hand-drafting and digital execution. The final project required designing a 2,100–2,300 sq. ft., two-story residential home on a real-world lot in Bend, Oregon. We were tasked with specific minimum requirements—including 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a 2-car garage. The lot context included a northeastern river view that was only visible from the second story. After initial schematic hand-drafting, the project culminated into a comprehensive, 24-page set of construction documents produced exclusively in Revit.
